Service Description
This is a 6-week course, following on from our "Introduction to Skateboarding" sessions in Jan/Feb and as such is tailored to those who previously attended these. We will be developing on the absolute basics and moving towards using ramps, simple tricks and other relevant skate skills. If you are looking to join our sessions at this stage for the first time please get in touch before ordering to ensure that this is the best level for you. This course is for participants aged 5-9 (school years 1-4), although if you have siblings who want to learn together and one is older then please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate. Sessions will be led by Ash, our Head Coach, who has been working closely with leading UK skate-school ABC Skateboarding for the past 6 years, delivering lessons across Norfolk & Suffolk. All we ask is that participants arrive ready to learn, wearing comfortable clothing, flat-soled shoes (preferably trainers) and with a drinks bottle. Parents/carers can stay and spectate or drop-off/collect. Professional-level skateboards and safety equipment will be supplied (participants can use their own equipment if they have it, subject to suitability checks from our coaches). All coaches are DBS-checked and have appropriate safeguarding & first-aid training.
