Intro to Skateboarding- Weds - Age 10-15

Service Description

We are very excited to be launching our first set of Community East skateboard lessons at St Peter Parmentergate Church! It will be a 3-week short course, teaching the absolute basics of skateboarding (how to balance, how to push, how to turn etc) along with advice on how to use a skatepark safely and responsibly. Each session is one-hour long. This course for participants aged 10-15 (school years 5-11), although if you have siblings who want to learn together and one is younger then please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate. Sessions will be led by Ash, our Head Coach, who has been working closely with leading UK skate-school ABC Skateboarding for the past 6 years, delivering lessons across Norfolk & Suffolk. All we ask is that participants arrive ready to learn, wearing comfortable clothing, flat-soled shoes (preferably trainers) and with a drinks bottle. Parents/carers can stay and spectate or drop-off/collect. Professional-level skateboards and safety equipment will be supplied (participants can use their own equipment if they have it, subject to suitability checks from our coaches). All coaches are DBS-checked and have appropriate safeguarding & first-aid training. When you book a space(s) we will send a participant registration form to the email address provided. This will need to be completed prior to the first session.
