Service Description
This is a 3-week short course, teaching the absolute basics of skateboarding (how to balance, how to push, how to turn etc) along with advice on how to use a skatepark safely and responsibly. Each session is one-hour long. This course for participants aged 5-11 (primary school age). Sessions will be led by Ash, our Head Coach, who has been working closely with leading UK skate-school ABC Skateboarding for the past 6 years, delivering lessons across Norfolk & Suffolk. All we ask is that participants arrive ready to learn, wearing comfortable clothing, flat-soled shoes (preferably trainers) and with a drinks bottle. Parents/carers can stay and spectate or drop-off/collect. Professional-level skateboards and safety equipment will be supplied (participants can use their own equipment if they have it, subject to suitability checks from our coaches). All coaches are DBS-checked and have appropriate safeguarding & first-aid training. When you book a space(s) we will send a participant registration form to the email address provided. This will need to be completed prior to the first session.
